The Oura Ring 5 is now available for preorder ahead of its June 4th release, with pricing starting at $399. The new smart ring is 40 percent smaller than its predecessor, featuring a slimmer and lighter design. Oura also promises improved accuracy and up to nine days of battery life on a single charge.
On the software side, Oura is introducing a Locate tool for finding a misplaced ring or charging case via the app, a live activity mode for real-time workout and heart rate tracking, support for third-party heart rate monitors, and new GLP-1 tracking tools. The company also announced Health Radar, a system that monitors nighttime breathing and blood pressure patterns for signs of potential health issues, and a partnership with Counsel Health to bring AI-assisted medical guidance to the app.
The Ring 5 can be preordered at Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and Oura’s online storefront in silver or black starting at $399. Premium colorways — gold, stealth, brushed silver, and deep rose — start at $499. Each purchase includes a size-specific charger and USB-C cable, and the ring is eligible for HSA and FSA reimbursement in the US.
The ring is available in sizes 6 through 13, with a free sizing kit included — worth noting since the slimmer design means sizing differs from previous Oura Ring models. It is compatible with both iPhone and Android, though an Oura membership ($5.99/month or $69.99/year) is required to access the platform’s full suite of health features.
Oura is also launching a new Oura Ring 5 Charging Case alongside the ring on June 4th. The case supports wireless charging, offers up to a month of additional battery life, and includes an action button for quick pairing and charging status checks. It is available for preorder now at Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and Oura’s online storefront for $99.
